Nantucket New School Building Rentals
In 2002 the Nantucket New School (NNS) opened the doors to its beautiful new facility at 15 Nobadeer Farm Road. Named the Louise F. Walker Building, the school pledged to have its new campus become a learning center for the entire island by providing space for lectures, seminars, music, dance, and events serving the arts community. In addition, the school is available on a limited basis for private parties and for meetings.
The 15,000 sq.ft. Walker Building can accommodate several different types of event needs. The two large multi-purpose rooms are at the heart of the Timberpeg designed building and each room can accommodate seated dinners for up to 200 people. Other spaces available for event planning include an amphitheatre garden, classrooms, and spacious grounds surrounding the Walker Building. Ample parking is available at the site.
Since 2002 the Walker Building has housed events for various island organizations such as Artists' Association of Nantucket, Nantucket Community Music School, Nantucket Historical Association, Nantucket Airport Commission, Maria Mitchell Association, and private wedding parties and special events.
