NNS Collects Shoes for Haiti Nantucket New School Families collected over 800 pairs of shoes as part of the "Soles for Souls" effort for Haiti. Eighth graders Phoebe Pohl, Abby Visco, and Grace Jensen worked with science teacher Matt Liddle to pack and weigh the shoes, which tipped the scale at 860 pounds.
