going out to recess and seeing children of all ages playing together in a large group game of soccer. I
that the island is quiet in the winter and I am able to bump into New School families at the grocery store. I
Morning Meeting and how fun it is to hear childrens’ sharing. I
meeting with parents and talking through all kinds of things, from worries about a child’s progress to victories on the swim team. I
my OpEd team, a group of administrators that are incredibly dedicated to their work. I
partnering with the Board of Trustees to think about how to help Strong Wings and the New School support the island’s children. I
that we asked for support of the Annual Fund and received extraordinary gifts to match a $20,000 pledge. I
getting the shuttle riders organized at the end of the day, crowded in my office and I even
the days I am able to drive the van to the Boys & Girls Club. I
