Welcome to the Nantucket New School, an incredible learning community for students in PreKindergarten - Grade 8.  I hope the information available through our website prompts you to set up a campus visit, as there is nothing more impressive than seeing our students and teachers interacting with each other. Our grounds and academic spaces are tailored to a balance of warmth, creativity, and challenge that lead to empowering students.

Nantucket New School blends an appropriate and exciting mix of experiential learning, student centered classes, and skill development that make our students successful at the secondary level and beyond. We value a strong partnership with our families, placing individual children and their needs at the forefront of our planning. Working collaboratively with talented teachers and engaged classmates is a high priority in the New School community. We learn and grow together, as we take care of each other and get smarter every day!
