Giving to NNS
Philanthropic support is essential. Without the help of donors like you, we could not serve our students with the quality of programming we regularly provide. There are three main categories of critically important support:

| The Annual Fund is a yearly component of our operating budget. It is hoped that all members of the parent community will contribute at some level. A strong Annual Fund supports operational programming. Many sponsors of these events add to our success. | Every five to seven years, the school undertakes larger projects that require gifts in support of specific and ambitious goals. Capital campaign fundraising is ambitious, leading to bold innovation and significant results. |

Your Gift, Their Growth
Annual donations help to pay our teachers’ salaries, fill the classroom with books and supplies, fund field trips on and off the island, and enrich our students’ day with art and music instruction.
A primary goal for NNS is to keep the school’s tuition as low as possible, thereby attracting a student body that reflects the diversity of our island community. In order to achieve this goal, we depend on the generosity of our community.
Each year, we host several special events and fundraisers including:
- The Harvest Bash in November
- The Great Nantucket Duck Race in the spring.
In addition to these events, we raise funds for our Annual Fund through the generous support of our families, alumni, and friends of NNS. Please consider making an online gift to the Nantucket New School.
There are ways to give to NNS besides a monetary donation:
