This morning, the excitement was palpable as students, dressed in their finest, welcomed grandparents and special friends to the New School. With over 100 visitors in attendance, it was a busy day. Each class shared a presentation, including beautiful songs and poems. Thanks to Cory Morgan, our music teacher, for his work in delivering a great program! Watching the classes sing was heartwarming!
Listening to the presentation this morning, I was struck by my gratitude for this community. This school is unique, and I do not take it for granted. I appreciate the care that the teachers put into their daily work. The children’s enthusiasm for learning is contagious, and their kindness towards one another is inspiring. It’s not just luck—this kind of community is built with intention and hard work. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Nantucket New School community!
